What ever happened to the puck with a computer chip that made it glow on TV to make watching games easier?

May 30th, 2010 | 12 Comments | Posted in TV On PC FAQ

Years back I saw an experimental hockey game on TV that made it easier to follow the movement of the puck because it emitted a glow of light with the use of a computer chip and sensors around the rink. What happened?
Thanks for the answers so far! I was curious because we don’t get much hockey here in the Pacific (only in sports news programs), and I think hockey is a very exciting sport. I appreciate your responses.

And to school boy down there, was it so hard to just say that the chip was Fox’s idea, and hockey purists like you hated it and wanted to get rid of it? Was that too hard?? If you’re so smart, you would’ve known that the Internet is not just Canada or America. Or are you just too insecure of a moron that you desperately need to establish to the whole virtual world through your nickname that you’re a med student (wow!) and a tough-as-nails hockey fan (oooh, am I scared!) to gain the respect that you probably do not get in the real world (so who’s the pussy here, huh?). You calling me stupid and a pussy?? You don’t even know me you shit!! Here’s one for you: "Putang ina mo! Tarantadong hindot ka, buwakanang ina mo!!!" So who’s the stupid one now?

Can I use HDMI cable to record from TV to computer?

May 29th, 2010 | 2 Comments | Posted in TV On PC FAQ

I have a TV with a built-in VCR, but it has only RCA outputs. I have another TV with every output under the sun. Can I feed the VCR signal from TV #1 to TV #2 and then out to my computer via HDMI? I want to convert VHS family movies to DVD. Also, will I need a special program on my computer? Any help is appreciated.
