Can anyone tell me if Satellite TV for PC really works? Does it give access to over 3,000 TV channels?

And all for a one-time fee? Does it require any kind of specific Internet connection, or does any kind of connection work?

Yes it works. I’m using it everyday now to catch up with the latest news and some sports events in between working on my PC.

However, you need a fast internet connection. There are that many channels but for me at the end of the day, I’m watching only a few. As the channels are from other countries, sometimes they are not available for our time zone.

All in all, if you choose the right package, it is worth the money. It is one software I use regularly besides windows of course.

Actually, if it’s like the computer program I purchased for about $60, all you get are links to existing websites that TV stations have available for free. Selection is not very good. Most commercial stations don’t have streaming video. However, you get lots of links to foreign streaming channels from around the world and some community TV stations. The only "Satellite TV" part I’ve ever understood is that the Internet might be going over a satellite to reach you. This is NOT DirecTV or Dish Network on your computer!!! Save your money and go directly to the website of a TV station you might be interested in.
