Can I record a tv show from the computer and watch it on my tv?

I missed the last 5 episodes of survivor and I would like to download them from the internet and watch on my tv, can I do that and what do i need? tv and computer are not connected…

actually you can! get the ATI TV Tuner for your desktop. it comes with a video capture device (composite input, s-video input, and RCA input), a usb cable, adaptor, and a cd. the cd has a program that you can customize your schedule of recording your shows on a specific date and time. it also comes with a tv guide software (works if your pc is connected to the net). it saves into a standard MPEG or an AVI file. these files are very much easy for you to port them to burn directly to a DVD-Video software like NERO and Roxio.

you could save the files off the net and burn them onto a DVD if you have a DVD burner then watch them on you’re DVD player
i use Nero CD/DVD burning program but there alot of different programs you can use……….good luck
