would love to know if it is technically possible? or if there are only legal reasons why it is not yet offered?

I’ve been wondering the same thing and came across this cool device called a ‘Slingbox’ that would allow you to watch your tv, cable, dvr, etc, across the internet. And it would be legal.

There are sites out there that let you stream live TV for free such as Channel King and Free Tube but most of them have a very poor selection and they’re very hard to navigate plus they’re extremely slow. Other sites say they’re free then want you to download an executable file that installs files onto your computer that have nothing to do with watching TV on your PC.
I found a great review site that lists 5 different TV for PC services.
The site is TV4PC.I-Reviews.org. I downloaded the iSoftwareTV service and it’s everything the review says it is. It really turned my computer into a second TV and the quality is excellent. I recommend checking out the review site if you’re looking for a way to watch TV on your computer.
