I’m thinking about getting a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 Dual TV Tuner for my PC but would like to know that if I plug my DirectTV DVR Co-ax cable into it instead of a satellite would I be able to watch satellite tv on my PC. It says it plays through Windows Media Center but I was hoping it wasn’t all it could do.
Just to clarify, I do have DirectTV service with the satellite and all.
I just installed Windows Vista Business on my HP Pavilion a6177c TV PC Desktop and now I don’t have any internet. In "Manage Network Connections" there is only an option for an Ethernet connection. I went to HP’s website but still can’t seem to find the right thing. I think (Not positive) I had some Linksys driver installed. Not sure though! Please help!
i dont need it to be a free service. that way i can watch tv through my internet and then not have regular cable tv at all.
My son and I spend way too much time on the computer and watching movies, so I’m thinking about doing a tv/computer free week. Hopefully we’d be more motivated to try out some awesome summer-ness activites and whatnot. Have you guys done this before? How’d it go?
My boyfriend is in the army and currently deployed in Iraq. His favorite tv show starts next week and he is bumming he won’t be able to watch it. Can I buy the tv shows on itunes then send it to him on a USB or a disc and then he could open it in his itunes? is this legal/ will it work?
