Color problem when connecting my tv to pc?

When I connect my pc to my tv it has a bright yellow hue. I have used the same cable to connect to my monitor and it works fine. I’m connecting from dvi on the pc to vga on the monitor and the tv. Anyone got any solutions?
The tv looks fine normally and with directv. I have an hdmi to dvi cable on the way so hopefully it will work.

    Sounds like lack of BLUE SIGNAL. Your Cable may be only designed for Digital Connections or Analog connections but NOT both….

    You might need your CABLE’S Alter-Ego….Anti- "Whatever you bought"

    How does your TV look WITH a normal picture? Normal or yellow Too?
    You could have a defect in your LCD panel if it’s an LCD Projection TV set, Not a Flat-Screen.
