well part of that is wrong common sence youll know when its a virus.. and no virus software is gonna give ya detale on that unless ya extract it.. and one more thing i never have use virus software or protection software and i download dangrous files all the time..lol

they are giving you a virus . never download a zip or rar file. your anti virus software most likely wont detect the virus until after they are installed on your computer. RAR files almost always have viruses in them.
