If I download a blu ray movie onto my computer can I watch it on my tv?

need all the info you guys know. I got all the cords to connect the computer to the tv so all o need to know is the answer to the question..

Which kind of cable are you using ? (HDMI is best in your case)
Are you capable of playing the same Blu ray onto your Pc ?
if so
Just click play on your Pc and watch simultaneously on your tv (when connected via cable)(also switch tv setting to Hdmi or whatever connection type you’re using)
if not so
get a software like cyberlink power DVD or Corel Windvd to play it on your pc first
enjoy.
