I hooked up a pc to tv converter and everything works wonderful, except I only get sound through the TV. Is it possible to run the sound through my Onkyo receiver and have surround sound?

There are cables that have a mini stereo plug on one side and two rca plugs on the other (you can find in most electronics stores for under $ 10). This would connect the audio out on the PC to a unused input on the receiver (I do this for my ipod).
